Le nombre de voyageurs progresse de 3,2% sur le seul long-courrier (28,320 millions de passagers), et en particulier de 6,1% sur l’Amérique du nord, de 6,1% sur l’Amérique latine et de 3,7% vers l’Asie ; il est également en hausse de 0,7% vers les Caraïbes-Océan Indien, mais recule de 1,7% sur l’Afrique et le Moyen-Orient. Le coefficient d’occupation moyen sur le long-courrier est de 88,7% (+0,3 point), sur une offre en hausse de 2,9%. L’activité court et moyen-courrier a progressé en 2019 de 1,9%, avec 59,304 millions de passagers et une occupation à 84,7% (+1,4 point) sur des capacités en hausse de 1,0%.
Air France (incluant désormais sa filiale régionale HOP) a accueilli 52,532 millions de passagers l’année dernière, un résultat en hausse de 2,1%. Le trafic en PKT gagne 4,3% sur des capacités en SKO en hausse de 3,4% ; le coefficient d’occupation progresse de 0,7 point de pourcentage à 86,9%. Le court et moyen-courrier affiche 35,687 millions de passagers (+1,0%), avec une occupation à 83,0% (+1,7 point) ; le long-courrier de la compagnie française de l’alliance SkyTeam a transporté 16,845 millions de voyageurs (+4,4%), avec une occupation moyenne à 86,9% (+0,7 point).
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines a de son côté accueilli 35,092 millions de passagers en 2019 (+2,7%), avec un trafic en PKT à +1,7% sur des capacités en SKO à +1,4% ; le coefficient d’occupation s’établit à 89,4% (+0,3 point). Le court et moyen-courrier affiche 23,617 millions de passagers (+3,3%), avec une occupation à 87,3% (+1,0 point) ; le long-courrier a transporté 11,475 millions de voyageurs (+1,5%), avec une occupation en hausse de 0,3 point à 89,7%.
Transavia, la filiale low cost du groupe Air France-KLM, a accueilli 16,581 millions de passagers l’année dernière (+4,8%), avec une hausse de capacité (+6,5%) inférieure à celle du trafic en PKT (+6,7%) ; le coefficient d’occupation gagne 0,2 point par rapport à 2018, à 92,2%.
